Srinagar, Aug 12: One of J&K’s most vibrant industrial centres – Lassipora Industrial Growth Centre – has elected its new governing body.
Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) has congratulated the new team for their success.
Pertinently, the newly-elected body comprises of President Mohammad Muzafar Ahangar, Mukhtar ul Qadir (Senior Vice President) and Bashir Ahmad Sheikh (Vice President).
Mohammad Shafi Ganie, Sawar Hussain Malik & Mohamad Shaban Bhat were elected as General Sectretary, Financial Secretary & Organiser respectively.
Shahid Kamili, President, FCIK while congratulating the new body said that the IGC Lasipora is the biggest Industrial Estate of J&K and its representation in the industrial sector plays a pivotal role.
“A democratic process has been adopted and the election have been conducted smoothly & under conducive atmosphere by the Election Commission”, he added.
While welcoming the new body, Secretary General Ovees Qadir Jamie said, “The new body has come up with new faces and their enthusiasm seems to be high for the growth of the industrial sector in J&K.”
FCIK has thanked and conveyed its satisfaction to the outgoing President Nisar Ahmad Sheikh and the previous body for their services.
