Srinagar: In yet another major administrative reshuffle, J&K government on Sunday announced transfers and postings of as many as 66 senior Kashmir Administrative Officers (KAS) officers.

In a Government Order No.344–JK(GAD) of 2021, dated 18 April, a copy of which has been obtained by Ziraat Times, the administration has ordered the following transfers and postings with immediate effect.

Mr. Munir-ul-Islam, KAS, Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museums, J&K, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer/Secretary, J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, vice Mr. Muzafer Ahmad Pir, KAS, who shall report to the General Administration Department, for further posting.Mr. Rahul Pandey, IAS, Additional Secretary in theLieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, holding additional charge of Director, Information, J&K, shall also hold the charge of Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museums, J&K and Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Mr. Showkat Aijaz Bhat, KAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, is posted as Commissioner, State Taxes, J&K relieving Mr. Prediman Krishen Bhat, KAS, Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Tax Planning, Policy & Advance Ruling) of the additional charge of the post.
Mr. Jatinder Singh, KAS, Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Director, Floriculture, Jammu.
Ms. Nitu Gupta, KAS, Mission Director, ICDS, J&K, is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Administration and Enforcement), Jammu.
Mr. Prediman Krishen Bhat, KAS, Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Tax Planning, Policy & Advance Ruling), holding additional charge of Commissioner, State Taxes, J&K, is transferred and posted as Director, Development Expenditure, Division-I, Finance Department, against an available vacancy.
