Srinagar: CBSE exams for class 10 have been cancelled, while the exams have been postponed for class 12.
The decision was made after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal and other top officials regarding the fate of the conduction of the upcoming board exams across the country.
Students have been pushing for the postponement and cancellation of the CBSE board exams 2021 due to the rise in Covid-19 cases across the country and yet, the Central Board of Secondary Education has not issued any statement in this regard.
The hashtag ‘cancelboardexams2021’ was also trending on Twitter after lakhs of students and parents raised their voiced against the conduction of the board exams in the midst of such a health crisis. The decision regarding the exams will be updated soon.
