Srinagar, March 7: SWAL Corporation Ltd., a well-known company in the field of agrochemical and specialty fertilizer, has launched “MERLOT” & “JUNIPER” at the SKICC, Srinagar today.
The event was graced by chief guest Rafi Ahmad Mir, special guest, Imad Mir and Avnindra Shah (Business Head, SWAL Corporation Ltd) who has spared valuable time from their busy schedule and have guided the audience on the requirement of quality agro-chemicals for quality apple production, a statement issued by the organizers to Ziraat Times said.
Among the products launched, “MERLOT” & “JUNIPER” are the novel fungicides for better efficiency and productivity in apple orchards & paddy. The products were launched by chief guest Rafi Mir at the ceremony attended by more than 500 business partners & apple growers representing Kashmir valley.
On the occasion, Avnindra Shah, Business Head and Satendra Singh, Zonal Head (SWAL – Chandigarh) spoke about SWALs corporate profile and future plans to strengthen agrochemical and fertiliser product portfolio keeping in mind the varying needs of farming across the country, including Jammu & Kashmir’s specific needs.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Rafi Ahmad Mir emphasized on the need of quality agrochemicals in Kashmir for better apple quality and enhancing its yield.
Apart from the above-mentioned officials, Sunil Kumar – Zonal Marketing Lead, Neeraj Kumar Sharma – Sr Regional Manager, along with Owais Bashir Janwari – premium business partner of SWAL, graced & managed the said event.
The introduction of these quality products in Kashmir comes at a time when there are wide concerns among fruit growers and farmers in J&K about the quality of some of the existing agro chemicals in Kashmir.
