Revenue Dept to buy 46 cars for Tehsildars, ROs for Rs 4 crore

Srinagar: J&K’s revenue Department is all set to purchase 46 brand new vehicles for Tehsildars and Revenue Officers at a cost of Rs 4 crore.

According to an order issued by the Revenue Department vide No. 22-Rev of 2021 dated 15 March, 2021, the department has sanctioned the release of funds to the tune of Rs. 4 crore for the purchase of 46 vehicles subject to the following conditions.

  • The Purchase of Vehicles is made through the State Motor Garages after fulfilling all the required codal formalities.
  • No post of driver shall be created by the department.
  • Director Finance of the department shall vouchsafe the availability of funds forthe purpose.
  • The purchase shall be made as per car policy.
