Srinagar: Several Covid19-affected people, including some senior J&K government officials, presently under quarantine at the quarantine facility established at Target PMT Nowgam, Srinagar, are going through a difficult time, reports said.
Sources told Ziraat Times that the facility is not being sanitized and the basic quarantine protocols in terms of hygiene and sanitization are not being followed at the facility, leading to deep trauma among the people at the centre.
“There are young and healthy people at the quarantine facility, with mild to moderate symptoms of Covid19. If basic quarantine protocols are not followed then, surely, such situation could pose greater risk to the individuals quarantined there”, said Syed Nazir Ahmed, a relative of a quarantined individual.
The relatives of the quarantined people have appealed to the J&K administration, including J&K Police authorities to pay attention to the quarantined individuals, most of whom have got infected during their official duties.
