The inauguration ceremony of Ziraat Times saw eminent people from across Jammu & Kashmir state talking about how Ziraat Times could play a critical role in supporting efforts in strengthening the state's agricultural economy, address the challenges of climate change, low productivity and so on. 


On the occasion, public policy makers, opinion makers, business leaders, researchers, farmers and other people with interest in Jammu & Kashmir’s primary economy talked about one of the most pressing issues of our times - Jammu & Kashmir's land use policies and practices.

The event was held at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar on March Ist, 2018.

Farmers, Jammu & Kashmir's Minister for Horticulture, Basharat Bukhari, former Chief Information Commissioner, G. R. Sufi, scholar and former Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Science of Technology (IUST) among others unveil the first edition of Ziraat Times.

The ceremony was attended by eminent people from the state's business community, research institutions, academic institutions, media civil society and others
