More snowfall likely in J&K coming weekend: ZT outlook is here

Srinagar: Even as Kashmir valley and parts of Kargil, Chenab and Pirpanjal sub regions are reeling under the misery of the last big snowfall, another spell of snowfall is likely in J&K next weekend.

According to Ziraat Times Weather Outlook, a western disturbance is likely to engulf J&K through the Caspian Sea corridor, starting next Saturday, resulting in snowfall on Saturday, Sunday and, possibly, extend to Monday morning.

While at this stage, there are indications that this snow spell will be less intense than the previous one, which emanated from the Arabian sea and brought in heavy moisture from northern plains, an area-wise and more accurate forecast by Ziraat Times will be issued on Monday or Tuesday once more data will be available.
