Srinagar: Oath-taking ceremony of Industrial Association Kashmir was held at Khunmoh on 12 November 2020. It was done in festive way to celebrate to welcome the newly formed body headed by Imran Murtaza of Agrino Snacking, winning by margin of 26 votes, a statement issued by the Association said.
In the event, stress was given to entrepreneurship, and scope of manufacturing sector in Kashmir. Also the speakers applauded the role of JK Bank in general about the growth and industrial sector in the Estate.
Pertinetly, INDUSTRIAL Estate Khunmoh produces great variety of products like POP, bakery, cement products ,milk, furniture mainly for consumption of local market.
Dignitaries who attended the function were MD SIDCO AGHA AIJAZ HUSSAIN, JK Bank Zonal Officer Rais Maqbool, FCIK President Shahid Kamili, Sheikh Ashiq, Ex President KCCI, Mohd Ashraf Mir Ex President FCIK, Khunmoh Welfare Association.
While address the quorum Mr Imran said industries are in a dire need of dry port and marketing intervention package.
In times of information era, technology infrastructure upgradation in all estates is important, which is lagging behind in Kashmir.
Mir Saqib, an industrialist from Khunmoh, said “credit line for industries should come under different scheme than trading, we have cash flow cycle different from general trading and same should be done while giving line of credit to industries”.
