Kashmir Food Processors Association elects new Executive Body

Srinagar: Kashmir Food Processors Association has elected its new Executive Body after fresh elections.

In a statement issued at the end of the election process to Ziraat Times, the association said:

It was on 03-11-2020, an Election to the Executive Body of Kashmir Food Processors’ Association was held at FCIK Office, Industrial Estate Sanatnagar.

Majority of the members were present who took part in the voting with great enthusiasm. Following Office Bearers were elected:


1 PRESIDENT – Mr. Issaq Chowdhary M/S Chowdhary Brothers, I/E Zakura.


2 SR. VICE PRESIDENT – Mr. Bashir Ahmad M/S Universal Canning, I/E Sanatnagar.


3 VICE PRESIDENT – Mr. Syed Ahmad M/S Garden Fresh, I/E Rangreth.


4 SECRETARY GENERAL – Mr. Abdul Wahid M/S Suntop Products, Rajbagh.


5 JOINT SECRETARY Mr. Junaid Ahmad M/S Emco Industries, I/E Zakura.


6 PUBLICITY SECRETARY – Mr. Khursheed Ahmad M/S AL Rasheed Foods, I/E Khunmoh.


7 FINANCE SECRETARY Mr. Javed Ahmad Lone M/S Lone Industries, I/E Khunmoh.


8 SECRETARY Mr. Moomin Ahmad M/S Harsons Canning, Rajbagh.

All the Office Bearers took oath for their new assignments and dedicated themselves for the cause of the Food Processing Sector.


Mr. Syed Ahmad, the former Finance Secretary, circulated the details of account of the earlier period among the members and the same got approved by the General Body. Moreover, Mr. Syed handed over the Books of Accounts to the newly formed Secretary Finance.


Finally, President Mr. Isaaq Chowdhary gave a brief lecture on the occasion wherein he laid stress on the development of the Food Processing Sector and envisaged on the august members to take it as a socio-economic mission. All the members pledged full support and cooperation towards the Association.
